STRIPES X FALL

Photography by @toamil

It’s weird but it was only this summer that I discovered so many cool rompers and the fact that I am so lazy to put tops and bottoms together! Oops! Love this stripy one.

Happy first day of Fall, Guys!

TOMBOY STYLE

Photography by @toamil

Can not believe I am saying this, but I can not wait for fall that is all about effortless essentials in a rich, neutral palette (ivory, gray, camel, smoke, navy, black), casual sophistication, cozy elegance and laid-back luxe vibes. The point is to feel chic with relaxed looks everywhere and every day and I love it so much. So, even though the weather in NYC is still more than perfect (at least 80 degrees), I already have started building my fall wardrobe and could not wait to wear some of new finds!
This time I went for a boy-meets-girl style. I wanted to look mannish, but still elegant and sweet. I chose dapper tailored flowing pants, easy (but sweet!) Bonsoir Paris boy tee, the classic gray fedora hat and a color matching masculine-looking trench coat.  I completed my look with heels, just because the main thing about tomboy style is the play of contrasts.

About this delicious French baguette on pictures… I bought it in my favorite French bakery in Long Island City right before we went shooting. I missed my lunch this day and it seemed to me the most energetic and tasty snack. But when I took it out from the paper bag to have a small bite, my lovely photographer stopped me, because I was looking so Parisian and she wanted to capture this. So here it is! Then I ate it of cause and it was SO GOOD, ha!

About trench coat… You know it’s never late or early think about trench coat! It’s a piece of wardrobe you will use for all seasons long… Even in summer time as an extra layer in overly air conditioned situations!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! Bisous!

OAHU ESCAPE X WHAT TO WEAR IN HAWAII

More from Oahu! This Hawaiian island is packed with so many different places to see and visit. Even though I was there twice (two long waits between flights to lanai Island), I’ve never really visited other than going to hotel next to the airport so I took the time to actually explore for the first time during this trip. Here are we go!

My husband captured this incredible image of Hanauma Ba, one the most famous point view of Oahu.

...and seating overlooking it  was just amazing and so scary at the same time! Wearing my new favorite one-piece Miraclesuit® swimsuit and beach fringe LE SALTY LABEL kimono. Scroll down to see more pictures of this outfit!

Want to come back & stay here with for whole winter season! Breathtaking!

Right before I injured my foot...

Palms view never gets old!

Laniakea Beach on Oahu’s North Shore is a haven for green sea turtles. That’s how it got the nickname 'Turtle Beach'.

They come out of the water and make the sand their own! So cute!

Wearing the new gorgeous Darccy London lace skirt.

Oahu is the home of surfing. Beyond this, it is also the home to some of the worlds best and most famous surf spots!

Pearl Harbor is the number one visitor destination on Oahu, so we didn't miss it too. Done  in my lovely Stuart Weitzman sandals!

Overalls-and-bikini vacation combo. Overalls: Guess, Bikini: Victoria's Secret

Slides: Vince

Zoo adventure! Wearing Zara pants and a Zara top. Both got on sale for only 19$!

The significant banyan tree  in Waikiki Beach, Oahu!

More bay views....

My favorite Sunnies at that time! Dior 'So real'

Hiking through the jungle to Manoa Falls.

Definitely was wearing inappropriate footwear, but how mach chic it looked! Love my Tibi gladiators so much.

I think you can tell from the photos how hot and humid  the weather was. So, there was a good point  to play braid games with my hair!

I am already dreaming about going back!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful Monday! Muah!

WEDDING SEASON INSPIRED

Last week I went to Hawaii for taking a mini vacation in the paradise and it reminded me my wedding day that took the place also there. Our third anniversary is less than 2 months away, so I took the chance to play the bride role again!

I wore the white tuxedo romper that I got on sale for only 20$. I’m so in love whit it. It looks sophisticated and fresh even it is your turn to be the bride (to pretend being the one) or it is just the day to night summer outfit. I paired it here with my favorite white Stuart Weitzman sandals and my new significant Kate Spade New York ‘Mr and Mrs’ bag! I didn’t realize how useful this clutch was going to be until I went to Hawaii with it! I do not know if this clutch is meant to be just the wedding accessory but the black–white-gold colored metal together seemed to me so classic and so appropriate for a date or a dinner with friend or a cocktail party! Personally I don’t have any problem with ‘Mr and Mrs’ sign. I will wear it more and more!
